Update Products VAT Details

You can update all the product VAT for the ticked orders.

Change VAT Exclusive Prices
If you want to change the VAT rate on all your products enter the new rate and click on the Update VAT Rate button. This will change the Retail (VAT inclusive prices), but keep the product price the same. For example, if a product costs £100 with a VAT rate of 17.5% the retail price is £117.50. If you change the VAT rate to 20% the retail price will be changed to £120.

Change VAT Inclusive Prices (this will keep Retail Prices the same)
If you want to keep the retail prices the same when the VAT rate changes use this option. Enter the current VAT rate and the new VAT Rate. Click on the Calculate Price Adjustment button . This will calculate the amount to increase or decrease prices by in the box below. To update all the selected products click on the Update Prices and VAT Rate button. For example, if a product costs £100 with an old VAT rate of 17.5% the retail price is £117.50. After using a new VAT rate of 20% the Retail price is still £117.50, but the product price (not including VAT) is now £97.92.
